Allan Fish (1973–2016) was an eminent British cinema critic and historian. In 2011, he completed his legendary countdown of the 3,000 greatest cinematic achievements spanning silent classics, European art cinema, Japanese golden age, film noir, Hollywood classics, documentaries, and avant-garde shorts.
